EQ Legends Guide โบ
Pick a zone you are in and a zone you want. The planner reads the real zone links, the six dock translocators and every port spell in the client, then gives you the fastest way, the old walking way, and the way without a port.
Four ways to cross Norrath, and they are not interchangeable.
Walking. Free, always available, and the only option for most of the 79 zones above. The planner counts one step per zone you cross.
An NPC stands at each of the six docks — Erudin, Erud's Crossing, South Qeynos, East Freeport, Ocean of Tears, Butcherblock. Hail one and it moves you to the next stop instantly, with no boat to wait for. Free below level 20, then the price rises with your level, up to 50pp, shown in the confirmation box before you accept. South Qeynos to East Freeport is a single hop — there is no boat between Qeynos and Freeport, but you do not have to walk the Karanas either.
East Freeport to Ocean of Tears to Butcherblock takes you to Faydwer; South Qeynos to Erud's Crossing to Erudin takes you to Odus. They still run, and they are free, but the translocator at the same dock does the same hop without the wait.
Read from the game client: 12 zones take a druid port, 20 take a wizard port. A flex port slot in the group changes the shape of every trip — untick the box above to see what the same journey costs without one.
Zone links were transcribed from the EQLWiki zone connection map, then crossed against the exits declared by the game's own map files: that cross-check found 17 links the wiki map does not draw, and one it does draw that the game contradicts. Translocator routes come from EQLWiki. Port destinations were read out of the client's spell file. Kunark and Velious zones are left out — they are not in the game yet.
